I’m from New Zealand with a degree in architecture and a dream. I love the spontaneous moments from late night drives to getting a soft serve on the rainiest days. I’m always looking for the ‘human’ side of things. One day I want to become a designer who puts the client’s character at the heart of the architecture, creating unique spaces that feel less like buildings and more like a personal signature.
Chamath’s Home Style
If I had a home style, it would be Neo-Victorian. It isn’t just an aesthetic to me, it’s about character and convenience. Whilst standard modern homes feel too soulless, and traditional homes feel too stuffy – by blending these two characters’, you create a home that mirrors the personality of someone who respects tradition and history, but lives firmly in the present. There is a deep, personal satisfaction in running your hand over a century-old refurbished banister, before stepping into a cutting-edge kitchen. It’s the best of both worlds – you get the romantic character of the classic Victorian era, paired with the clean lines and effortless technological flow that makes your home truly worth living in.
As for my fav Bris restaurant it would be Big Buns – Mt Gravatt / Texas style Beef Ribs
