The Pottsville Project: A Vision Realised

Nestled on the lush coast north of Byron Bay and south of Tweed Heads lies the tranquil town of Pottsville. This stunning coastal retreat, an architectural marvel, stands as a powerful structure facing the beach, where the sea breeze weaves through the trees. Designed as a spacious sanctuary, its weatherproof exterior gives way to an inner haven warmed with wood tones and seamless surfaces.

Modern kitchen interior featuring a large marble island with four wooden bar stools, sleek wood cabinetry, and integrated appliances. The open layout extends to a view of the outdoor pool area through large glass sliding doors, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor living space. Fresh fruit and decorative items add a touch of warmth and elegance to the sophisticated design.

For this comprehensive layout, we designed and installed the custom joinery required for;

  • kitchen
  • integrated appliances
  • butler’s pantry
  • dining buffet
  • several bathrooms
  • laundry
  • study
  • media room
  • master walk-in-robe
  • wardrobes throughout.
Spacious modern kitchen with a large marble island featuring wooden cabinetry and a sleek stainless steel faucet. The kitchen opens up to a bright dining area where two young girls are seated at a round wooden table. Large glass doors provide access to a lush outdoor space, creating a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor living. Decorative trays with fresh fruits and a light fixture add elegance to the contemporary design.

Our team collaborated closely with the homeowners, who delighted in exploring various materials early in the process. Appliances were seamlessly integrated to maintain clean lines. We added warmth to offset the grey tones, to create a ‘wow-factor’ in each space. Polytec’s premium materials were chosen for a sophisticated and durable finish. Prime Oak Woodmatt, and Florentine Walnut Woodmatt were used for doors, panels, and Steccawood.

The wood-toned cabinetry offers ample storage with sleek black handles, enhancing the contemporary design. A wall-mounted faucet and a soap dispenser complement the elegant and functional setup, reflecting the high-quality craftsmanship of the Pottsville Project.
